Dear Parents and Guardians,
At this point in the school year, school staff are preparing draft class placements for the 2025-2026 school year. We take many factors into account (academic progress, social-emotional wellness, language levels, special learning needs, etc.) when making draft class placements.
To help us make draft class placements, we would like to know if your family plans to return to P.S. 120 for the 2025-2026 school year. Please take this brief survey below to let us know your plans. (NOTE: All current students will be assigned a 2025-2026 class, unless you confirm with us that your child will not attend P.S. 120.)
Also, if you know that your family will not be returning to P.S. 120 in September, please also send an email to our pupil secretary (bmitarotonda@schools.nyc.gov) and parent coordinator (tzhang3@schools.nyc.gov) with the following specific information (not needed if your child is graduating from 5th grade):
- Child’s full name and grade level (2025-2026 school year)
- OSIS (Student ID) number, if known
- Name of next school
- Address of next school
- Discharge date (Date child will begin class at the next school)
